Careen has been practicing natural/ complementary medicine her entire life. She is a flower essence consultant and received her training through the Flower Essences Society in Nevada City, CA from Patricia Kaminski and Richard Katz and the Nelson Bach Company. Her Homeopathic training is through Learn Homeopathy Now taught by Willow Tipton, DiHom and Shelly McQuerter, CiHom. She obtained her aromatherapy certification through the Natural Healing Institute in Encinitas from Kathi Keville and is a certified clinical herbalist trained by Steven Schechter, ND. Careen also teaches various workshops around San Diego on vibrational medicine / holistic health.

As a nurse she strongly believes there needs to be a balance between Eastern and Western medicine. The whole person should be treated and not just the disease. Many people who cannot take medications for one reason or another find holistic/ complementary medicine very effective and a beneficial addition to western medicine. Her main focus is on the mental - emotional body and how if not balanced can manifest itself in the physical body in some form of "dis-ease". She works to empower her clients to help them create their own balance within themselves. To help them heal themselves just as Dr. Bach did so long ago.

Careen has over 10 years experience as a licensed pharmacy technician and now works as a nurse in Solana Beach with Dr. Blaine K Jackson, an internal medicine doctor at Solana Beach Medical Clinic. This is the perfect union and integration of Eastern and Western medicine. She is also a

certified yoga teacher and training to be a Reiki Master. Currently she is continuing her education in natural and complementary medicine and will be obtaining her H.H.P. and N.D. in the near future from the Natural Healing Institute in Encinitas.

Careen is very intuitive, diverse, well educated and caring. It is these qualities that keep her clients coming back to her time again. It is her Christian faith that gives her work the strong foundation and balance that it has.
